Last week in Australia

Our last week in Sydney Was timed to allow Kirren to sit a test for her job application. This test was revealed pretty last minute and had caused minor havoc with our itinerary.

Anyways Kirren set about revising and i set about relaxing/helping. When kirren's exam was done we set about enjoying our final days in Sydney.

All our time in Sydney our friend dave had lent us his flat whilst he was home for Christmas and new year. Now he was back so we took him out for dinner as a small gesture of thanks, accomodation in sydney is crazy expensive at the best of times let alone over the holidays. So thanks Dave! He was upset that he hasn't featured in this blog so far as he also came to Byron bay so I've selected the best photos i can find of our time with him below:

We went to a chocolate cafe called Max Brenner, Australians seem to live these places and they are great. Then we went to a natural history museum to see dinosaurs.

Our last activity in Australia was the Sydney harbour bridge climb. This is not so much of a climb as a walk with some ladders but it's cool way to look at the city from 134m up. You're always tied on to the structure so it's very safe but is a bit expensive.

We also visited a lighthouse at the entrance to Sydney Harbour and I went running over the bridge and saw the Opera house seal.

Then we hopped on our plane back to the UK.
